After leaving Boston because I couldn’t deal with snow that sometimes lingered until March, I shouldn’t complain when the temperatures hit 90 in North Carolina. Even if it means my normally beautiful, breezy May photo sessions end up feeling like late July beach days.
The Nagle family drove over from Durham for a family photo session on a balmy afternoon in Freedom Park earlier this month to capture some sweet moments with their precious baby girl Annika, who is almost 8 months old. Annika didn’t mind the heat and took the opportunity to show off her cute romper and her bare baby feet.
Martin Family: Baby Miles Turns 1!

I’m trying to get back into the habit of posting my my photo sessions on my blog in between writing projects, Allen’s Congress run, and momming like a boss, so wish my luck and send Twizzlers.
This session is from March, and it’s some of my favorite people. The Martin family invited me to capture some moments of their sweet baby Miles just a few weeks after his first birthday. I took most of these in a park close to their home in the Seversville neighborhood, as well as some of the family at home. It was super quaint and comfortable for everyone, and I really loved how the pictures came out.
